Angelica Aguayo is a curandera, certified herbalist & herbalism instructor, certified Death Comadre, Wellbriety Firestarter, and educator. Her passion in curanderismo is in empowering communities to reclaim ancestral medicines and to understand the “whys” of traditional medicine and ancestral healing arts practices. She received her Mexikah traditional medicine training from Maestra Cuauhtli “CC” Cihuatl (Huasteca, Rarámuri, Lipan Apache), one of the founding grand/mothers of New Mexico’s Mexikah lineage curanderismo community, and from Maestra Patricia Federico-Ruiz (Chicana, Apache, Italian), one of the founding grand/mothers of the Southern Arizona Mexikah lineage curanderismo community.

Andria is a renowned Chicana musician and sound healer with over 20 years of experience helping clients throughout the U.S. Southwest and Latin America. Her intuitive sound healing approach is rooted in Chicana and Mexican traditional medicine and ancestral healing arts. Andria excels at helping clients reclaim their power to heal and protect themselves, to return to themselves after periods of disconnection and dissociation, and move heavy, harmful, or unwanted energies from the body (moving from a place of embodied stress and trauma to a place of embodied healing and wellness).

Dr. Aeimee Diaz is a state licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist (L. Ac.), a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, a Doctor of Chinese Energetic Medicine, a Taoist Priest, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Candidate, and the founder and proprietor of HeART of Healing AZ, PLLC. She has supported integrative medicine, working alongside chiropractors, physical therapists, nurse practitioners, and naturopathic doctors in alternative medicine for more than 20 years and has studied & practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 20 years. Dr. Díaz values both Western and Eastern medicine, knowing that integrative medicine is the best approach to healthcare. 

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Lanette Diaz is an intuitive healer specializing in hands-on healing, sound cleansings, and barridas (traditional "sweeping" cleansings using eggs, plants, stones, and other natural elements traditional to curanderismo). With over 20 years of experience serving communities throughout the southwest, Diaz excels at helping clients who feel "stuck" to move blocked, stagnant energy; reconnect with their highest Self and inner child; and move through feelings of disconnect and dissociation to return to their bodies. Reclaiming this embodied wellness through basic techniques for cleansing the body and mind are services Lanette offers at the monthly Patiloni curanderismo community clinics held at the Sagrado Galleria every Second Sunday and Third Thursday of the month. 

Most Reverend Padre Jorge Eagar is an ordained priest of the Independent Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch; a curandero; and the founder, Vicar, and Head Clergy of the Shrine of Holy Wisdom, a spiritual community dedicated to inclusive, inter-tradition practices located in Tempe, AZ. Alongside his Christian ministry, Fr. Jorge studied Eastern and Western esoteric traditions, including mantra practice, Kabbalah, alchemy, angelic wisdom, and shamanic teachings. Fr. Jorge’s ministry is informed by a distinguished academic career in bilingual education and Hispanic literature. He holds a B.A. from UCLA, an M.A. from Cal State Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. from Arizona State University. He has served in leadership and teaching roles across Arizona’s educational institutions, bringing a deep respect for diversity, multiple intelligences, and holistic learning into both his professional and spiritual life.

Simone Gagnon is a Chicana death doula, healer, and community care facilitator based in Phoenix, Arizona on Akimel O’odham and Piipaash land, which is also home to many other Indigenous peoples. Using a culturally conscious approach, Simone holds supportive space for those experiencing an end: the end of a life, the end of a relationship, the end of an identity, the end of a season or phase, etc. She bears witness and offers resources to foster release, connection, healing, and wellbeing. Simone specializes in traditional curanderismo herbalism, limpias, candle work, and grief work; her close connection to plants and the Earth make her an excellent facilitator for rituals meant for grounding and protection.

Regina LaRue is a 3rd generation traditional Hoodoo practitioner & teacher, Conjure Woman, Rootworker, and tarot reader. She is also known within her tradition as a “Two Headed Doctor,” meaning she can see into both the mundane and spirit worlds. Regina specializes in sharing the wisdom and guidance of Spirit for your money & career matters, relationship concerns, holistic wellness matters, and general advice and direction. Her readings help to uncover the major blocks in your life, find solutions, and assist you on your Soul’s Journey. Regina will offer you powerful insight on how to heal, empower, and transform your situations for the better!

Keia is a community herbalist, holistic health and well-being practitioner, curandera, and the owner and proprietor of Botánica Quetzalli. A Chicana of Afro-Mexican and Ndee (Apache) ancestry, Keia holds a Master's degree in Public History and Museum Studies and has been working in the holistic health sphere since 2013. Keia holds certifications in yoga instruction, Ayurvedic Health Counseling, Western herbalism, and energy healing. She is currently completing an apprenticeship in Afro-Cuban Lukumí, in which her crown orisha is Yemayá. Keia's healing specialties include holistic wellness coaching, herbal consults, Ayurvedic bodywork, reiki/energy healing appointments, and limpias. Her ultimate goal is to assist others on their own transformative journeys back to balance and wholeness.

Doña Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz (Tewa, Mexikah) is a traditional healer, storyteller, founder and proprietor of Kitchen Curandera, and an Indigenous foods activist specializing in massage therapy, energy work, aromatherapy, Indigenous herbalism, whole food cooking, and other holistic modalities. She has been featured on inter/national programming like Padma Lakshmi's "Taste of the Nation" and her book, "Earth Medicines," has received praise from wellness leaders, culinary professionals, and educators alike. "Earth Medicines" is currently included in the curricula of Anthropology, Chicano Studies, Integrative Nursing, and Transborder Studies programs at several universities. Maestra Felicia offers traditional medicine workshops and one-on-one healing sessions for her community. 

Kim Stravers is an INELDA-certified death doula, funeral celebrant, pregnancy and infant loss advocate, and end-of-life and after-death caregiver and educator. A specialist in end-of-life care, grieving, bereavement, and healing in spaces of death and dying, she offers community education and support on end-of-life care techniques that anyone can practice for themselves at any stage of life, as well as with their loved ones during their time of transition, with the aim of unearthing, enhancing, and prioritize an individual’s values, choices, and autonomy. Kim offers cleansings, healing heart-to-heart talks, basic skills for being a healing presence for grief-stricken loved ones, and highlights the role of deathcare in reclaiming ancestral practices for holistic health and well-being. 

Dr. Jesús Cuauhtémoc Villa (PhD) is a Chicano curandero, applied activist anthropologist, a member of the Benedictine Order of Urban Conjure Doctors, certified Death Compadre, Cultural Coalition board member, co-founder of the Patiloni Collective and the Sonoran Desert Cultural Preservation Society (a 501c7 nonprofit), and  thanatologist: a scientific researcher of death, dying, grief, and memorialization. His curanderismo specialties include herbalism, limpias (energy cleansings), pláticas (heart-straightening talks), sound healing, ceremonial and ritual healing, and death & grief midwifery. As a professor for Arizona State University, the Maricopa County Community College District, and the University of New Mexico's Curanderismo Institute, Dr. Villa has taught classes and interactive workshops on traditional medicine, ancestral healing arts, and integrative medicine to thousands of students from all over the world.
